Project Reach not only allowed the user group to re-evaluate the member offering, but also paved way for a new brand, logo and website. Here is all you need to know.


 

Membership Platform

We are extremely pleased to introduce a much-improved offering regarding membership, apps and website, where members will be able to see events, book them, have conversations with like-minded individuals and get expert help when needed. Members will have news and events fed into their particular 'newsfeeds' based on their content preferences e.g. cloud, tech, apps.

You can view all programmes, resources, partners, news and the flagship publication through the membership tab at the top.

SocialLink

The new website not only allows you to access your member benefits, but also to connect with other fellow members. With your membership, you can create an account on the website's integrated social platform, where you can join community groups, post discussions, join forums and connect with other members. This allows you to learn, share, educate and innovate in your down time. Connecting with those in the Oracle community has never been easier.

Programmes

Our purpose is to provide independent, relevant and high-quality content to add value to all our members, whether firmly on-premises, planning their journey to the cloud, or already living in the cloud. We are removing the term SIG and moving to Event days, Webinars and Meetups, creating an improved calendar of events for you. More topic related events, conferences and days are planned, specific to your communities, making all events more beneficial and tailored to your community. With the new Webinars, Meetups and Forums planned, you can discuss any topic area, at any time of year. 

New logo

The new UK Oracle User Group logo now reflects independence, a core value the user group has held for many years. Whilst, clearly we are brought together as an Oracle User community, and we work closely with many members of Oracle Corporation, it is very important for us to stress and maintain our independence. This allows us to expand beyond Oracle to enterprise systems in general that organisations use which augment or work with Oracle products and provide real customer stories for the benefit of the membership.
