Abstract

Are your employees and customers looking to engaged through conversational channels such as WhatsApps or Slack?  You may have a home assistant like Alexa, or seen Larry Ellison demo conversational assistants on the front of HCM and expenses.  The case for AI-driven conversational interfaces is now interesting for some but compelling for many (especially those  budgeting service personnel to support human to human interactions). This sessions looks at the case for conversational interfaces, where they are being use now, the war stories and the returns in investments. Grant will also look at the technology and how you can build digital assistant to support businesses.

Speaker Biography

Director of Product Management within Oracle's Mobile and Digital Assistant division responsible for product strategy, evangelism and technical enablement. At Oracle I focus on proactively enabling our internal teams and external customers as well leading a team of technical specialists who work on reactive engagements, escalations and high profile implementations. I am a UKOUG Lifetime Achievement Award winner after winning multiple inspiring presentation awards from the UKOUG. I've spoken at 15+ Oracle World events, the same for UKOUG conference and dozens of regional technical conferences.
