Abstract

In the 2019 KPMG and Oracle Cloud Threat Report, it was found that 90% of CISOs surveyed are confused about their role in securing a SaaS environment versus the cloud service provider. Yet, more organisations are utilising Cloud SaaS solutions and therefore have security responsibilities. Meeting these responsibilities can present a challenge using traditional security tools. In this session, you will understand about your security responsibilities within SaaS and how Oracle can provide services to help you meet those responsibilities.

Speaker Biography

Paul has worked in Security for over 20 years, and, after over 11 years at Oracle, is one of Oracle UK's most Senior Solution Engineers, focusing on a number of areas within the field of Cyber Security. Paul works at all levels within organisations, from board level through to architects and developers, explaining and demonstrating the importance of security in the connected, cyber world. He also spends alot of time helping companies to under how security is used to reduce risk, as well as improve user experience and an organisations security posture. Recently, Paul has been involved in several large cloud transformation programmes as the lead security architect of the solution.
