President Update

We are now into March and our event calendar is getting busier and busier.

Latest update

I wanted to mention two events from February.  The first was our Banking meetup, which was well attended with 98% end user participation, exchanging real-world Cloud based experiences. The other was the first multi-streamed Technology Summit in the Midlands. These epitomise the two sorts of events our members have been asking for – Meetups with end users and meetings with many streams. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Of course, if you want something different, you only have to ask and we will see what we can do!

UKOUG Welcome Party
With our new office and location in Kingston, we want to invite you all to come and meet us! The party will be based at the Kingston Upon Thames office on Thursday 21st March. Kingston is a lovely place with direct trains from Waterloo and Vauxhall stations, which only take just half an hour. Come along and have a drink or two with us. Register here.

Oracle Support Survey

We work with other user groups all across Europe, the Middle East and Africa via the EOUC (EMEA Oracle Usergroups Community). The German user group has been running satisfaction surveys in respect of Oracle Support for a number of years and we all agree that this is something we should all be doing. This will allow us to pool our results across all the user groups and give us a stronger position to represent your views to Oracle.

Here at UKOUG we are in discussions with several user groups about how we can work together more to represent and support our user communities. Take the survey here.
