There is a growing reliance on using Citizen Development to meet the increasing demands for Digital Services on IT Departments.  No-Code and Low-Code technologies are seen as the solution to engaging employees to self-service their own needs.  However, this can lead to other problems with Information Security, poor quality services, duplicate systems, data protection fines and increased costs.  This presentation offers some strategic advice on various tactics that can be employed to reduce the risks of Citizen Development in a corporate setting.
